About Rafael Hardscaping

The first train north out of the Aberdeen-Matawan station has no opinion about what fell overnight; people still have to reach the platform. Rafael Hardscaping plows with that clock in mind, working driveways and walks in the dark so a car can be backed out at five-forty in the morning. Snow removal, shoveling and salting make up the winter, at homes and at the lots that open early. There is a specific pride in a driveway squared off to the pavement — no ridge left at the apron, nothing to shovel afterward. Matawan winters are short-tempered and sudden; the answer is to be out in them first.
