About Bob Zeffiro & Sons Lawn and Landscape

Sayreville was built out of its own ground — the clay along the river went into brick by the millions, and that brick is still part of the older blocks near Main Street. Bob Zeffiro & Sons Lawn and Landscape tends the lawns that grew up around all that masonry: mowing on a steady weekly turn, trimming close along fence lines and walls, keeping the edges honest where turf meets walk. A June evening here smells like cut grass and warm brick, and a yard finished at the end of the day holds its lines until the dew comes. Cleanups bookend the year, spring and fall — the rake work nobody photographs and everybody notices. It is ordinary work, and it is done right.
