About Green Team Power Washing

Winter on Absecon Island has a particular sound: the ocean two blocks over, the wind coming across Ventnor Avenue, and slush going stiff on the sidewalks by late afternoon. Green Team Power Washing spends that stretch of the year clearing Margate drives and walks before the melt-and-freeze cycle turns them to glass. Salt air makes shore snow sloppy on the way down and treacherous on the way out, which is why the walks matter as much as the pavement — steps, side doors, the path from the street to the porch. Getting it down to bare concrete and keeping it that way is unglamorous and deeply satisfying work. It is how a small island town stays walkable in the months when nobody is on the beach.
