About Murgas Landscaping LLC

Maplewood sits under old trees, the Rahway River running the length of Memorial Park with the Watchung ridge standing green above it all. Murgas Landscaping keeps lawns in that shade-and-slope country, where light comes through in patches and turf has to be coaxed rather than commanded. The season is mowing and trimming on a set rhythm, edges cut sharp along village sidewalks, beds mulched beneath the rhododendrons, a spring cleanup to open things up, and a long autumn of leaves off the oaks and sycamores. Yards here are deep, narrow and full of character, and each one comes with its own puzzle. Getting it right means a lawn that belongs to the street it sits on.
