About Wakemen's Landscaping Inc.

Noon in high summer, and the air over Sewell goes thick and still; the only breeze on the block is the one a mower makes. Wakemen's Landscaping Inc. cuts lawns across Mantua Township on that schedule, week after week, from the first push in April to the last one after the maples have turned. Edges get cut where turf meets concrete, trimmer work follows the posts and fence lines, beds are topped with mulch, and cleanups bookend the year at either end. Grass here grows on good coastal-plain ground and it does not wait for anyone. Stand at the curb afterward — stripes running true, border crisp — and it is obvious why the work is worth doing.
