Take one Manasquan street and follow it around the calendar. In October the maples let go all at once, and Earth Scapes Landscape & Outdoor Living is there with cleanups, pulling leaves off lawns and out of bed corners before the rain mats them flat. In February the same trucks come back with plows and salt, opening driveways and cutting a clear path from the door to the curb while the ocean wind keeps rearranging things. Then April arrives and it is mowing, edging and mulch again, the grass waking up in that thin sandy soil. Two halves of the year, one street, the same hands, from Manasquan out to Sea Girt, Brielle and the towns just over the river.
