Come Saturday morning the whole of Magnolia sounds like small engines, one block after another, and by noon the borough smells like cut grass. Woodchuck's Lawn Mower Services is part of that chorus, with mowing on a regular cycle, edging along walks and curbs, string trimming the corners a deck can't reach, mulch in the beds, the March clear-out and the long leaf work of November. Flat Camden County lots make for fast, straight passes, and there is real pride in a cut that looks the same at the back fence as it does at the curb.
