About Don's Discount Lawns Plus

Magnolia is barely a mile across, a borough of shaded side streets where the sycamores meet overhead by June and everybody knows whose truck is whose. Don's Discount Lawns Plus runs those streets all year, with mowing, edging, trimming, mulch and the seasonal clear-outs at either end of the growing year, then plowing, shoveling and salting when a South Jersey storm finally commits. Snow here tends to arrive undecided, rain one hour and sticking the next, so the trucks go out on the strength of a hunch and the salt goes down early. Summer is a different tempo entirely: engine noise, cut grass, the smell of it hanging in the humidity till dark. Both seasons end the same way, with one more property squared away and on to the next.
