About Stonewater Properties LLC

The Dead River winds slow through Long Hill and lays fog across the bottomland most mornings from September on. Stonewater Properties LLC looks after grounds along it in both directions of the year — mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and seasonal cleanups while things grow, then plowing, shoveling and salting once they stop. November is the hinge: last leaves off, last cut taken low, equipment swapped over, and then the watching of forecasts. Winter here can mean a soft inch or a wet foot, and either way the drive has to be open by six. Keeping one property looking right in July and moving in January is a single job, not two.
