Coviello Brothers

About Coviello Brothers

At Millington the Passaic cuts straight through the ridge, a narrow rocky gap that decided long ago where this town would put its houses. Coviello Brothers keeps the lawns on the streets above it — mowing on a set route, edging along walks and drives, trimming the corners, clearing whatever spring and autumn let go. June puts on growth fast in the river air, and a week's delay shows up in the clippings. Cutting at the right height with sharp blades is most of the whole business; the rest is arriving when you said you would. What gets left behind is straightforward — an even lawn, tidy borders, a driveway swept.
