The first genuinely warm Saturday brings the whole borough outdoors — back doors propped open, radios going, small Lodi backyards suddenly in use again. Prosperity yards gets those spaces ready and keeps them that way: mowing on a regular turn, trimming close along fences and sheds, edging the front walk so the line is clean from the street. The season opens with a cleanup that hauls off whatever winter piled into the corners and closes with the leaves gone before the first hard freeze. In between, the grass simply gets cut, week after week, until October runs out of warm days. A little yard genuinely tended is worth more than a big one that isn't.
