Spring reaches Linwood from the water first — the meadows greening, ospreys back on their platforms, and that wide tidal light coming across from the Ocean City side. Kasa Landscaping opens the season with it, mowing, edging and trimming yards from the Shore Road blocks out toward the township line. Sandy coastal ground warms early and dries quickly, so the first cuts here come sooner than anyone inland would guess. The year's first proper mow is a small event in itself: the lawn suddenly reads as awake, the borders sharp again, winter finally out of the picture. Keep that up week to week and the whole street looks different by June.
