About Linden Tree Services

Linden runs flat from Wood Avenue out to the water, and on a clear evening the lights toward the Arthur Kill sit low on the horizon while the street trees go dark first. Linden Tree Services works those blocks and the yards sloping down to the Rahway River, where London planes and Norway maples do the entire job of making a city block feel like a neighborhood. Trimming keeps them clear of the wires and the second-story windows, and pruning takes out crossing limbs before they rub themselves open. Removal is close-quarters work — fences, driveways, a neighbor's garage a rope's length away — done in short pieces and lowered, never swung. After a hard wind comes across the flats, the crew stays until the sidewalk is swept and the curb is clear for Monday.
