About Alas Contractors LLC.

Leonia's streets tilt east toward Overpeck Creek, and in a nor'easter the wet snow comes down heavy enough to bend the sycamores over them. Alas Contractors LLC works those nights, plowing driveways, shoveling steps and front walks, and putting salt where the runoff will freeze before morning. When the borough greens up, the same hands turn to mowing, edging, trimming and the cleanups that follow the leaf fall. Bergen County lots sit close together, so the job includes doing it without leaving a mess on the neighbor's side. Steps cleared all the way to the door — that is the standard.
