Garrison's Tree Service

About Garrison's Tree Service

Sound carries strangely over Laurel Lake — a saw running on the far shore comes back thin and clean across the water. Garrison's Tree Service works the sandy ground where the pines run down toward the Manumuskin, where pitch pine and scrub oak hold on in soil that barely counts as soil. Tree removal here starts with reading which limbs the wind has already loosened and which roots never had much to grip. Trimming is about giving a yard back its afternoon light, and pruning is the slow work, done with an eye on what the tree will look like three summers out. After a squall lays a crown across a driveway, the storm damage cleanup is finished when the gravel is raked flat and you would not know anything fell.
