Much of Lakewood is built tight — square front yards on a grid of streets, hedges close to the sidewalk, driveways just wide enough for two cars nose to tail. Gras Lawn is set up for exactly that kind of property, mowing quickly and neatly, trimming around every post and step, edging so the turf stops precisely where the concrete starts. In the cold months the same tight geometry has to be opened by plow and by shovel, with the drive, the walk and the path to the front door all cleared and treated.
