About Albert Tree Service & Landscaping

West of town the pitch pines begin, and after a storm they cradle snow in their crowns the way a hand holds water — until the wind arrives and drops the whole load at once. Albert Tree Service & Landscaping runs the long night hours on that pine side of Lakewood, opening drives and paths at properties where the trees keep re-snowing whatever you just finished. Plow the open ground, shovel the tight corners by hand, treat the steps, then loop back for a second pass. There is an odd peace to three in the morning out here: no traffic, headlights on white, the county silent all the way toward Lakehurst. Morning finds pavement where the drifts were, and that is the whole of it.
