About Manchester Gardens Landscaping

Ringed almost entirely by Manchester Township, the small borough of Lakehurst keeps its own square mile of streets, ballfields and scrub oak. Manchester Gardens Landscaping tends the lawns along them, mowing, trimming and edging on a rhythm the growing season sets. Pinelands turf asks for patience — the sand dries quickly and the pines throw shade in odd, moving patches, so no two yards on one street behave alike. The reward is a September evening when the heat finally lets go, the cicadas wind down, and a fresh-cut lawn holds its stripes in the slanted light. That is what the week's work is for.
