About Byrne Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping

Lakehurst sits in a pale, sandy pocket of the Pine Barrens, where pitch pines lean over the road and rain drains away almost as fast as it falls. Byrne Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping works with that ground rather than against it, mowing lawns that have to earn every inch of green out of Ocean County sand. Summer means long light over Lake Horicon and the smell of cut grass carrying down the block by evening. Come winter the same trucks turn to snow removal, and there is a real satisfaction in a driveway opened clean to the pavement while Route 70 is still dark. It is full-circle work: green lines in July, black asphalt in January, and the same houses looked after either way.
