West of Kendall Park the preserved farmland at Six Mile Run keeps its hedgerows and its old field lines, and in April the whole stretch greens up at once. Crafted Landscapes starts its year on that turn — cleanups first, the yard emptied of winter's fallen twigs and matted leaves, then the first mowing as soon as the ground is dry enough to hold a wheel. From there it goes weekly: an even cut, trimming worked in close where the mower cannot follow, edges shaped along the drive and the front walk. Come autumn the leaves are taken off in rounds until the turf is bare and clean again. Simple ingredients, handled with care, and a lawn that shows it.
