About Jerzey Lawns LLC

On a July evening the light comes in sideways off the marsh, egrets lifting white over the reeds, and the whole east side of town turns gold for about twenty minutes. Jerzey Lawns LLC likes finishing a yard in that hour, when a fresh cut throws its own shadow and the edges look drawn with a ruler. The work is mowing at the right height for the heat, edging where turf wants to creep over the concrete, trimming the corners a deck can't reach, and clearing the yard down clean when the season turns. Humidity rolls up off the water here and grass takes full advantage of it, so keeping pace is the whole discipline. The result is the kind of lawn a person notices from halfway up the block and cannot quite say why.
