About KDH Contracting LLC

A nor'easter announces itself here before it lands — the bay goes the color of pewter, the marsh grass lies flat, and by three in the morning Keansburg is under it. KDH Contracting LLC runs snow removal through those nights: plowing driveways and parking lots, clearing walkways and steps by hand, laying salt so ice does not take hold behind the blade. Storms off the water come in dense and wet, and the trick is staying ahead of one rather than digging out after. There is a particular quiet to a cleared drive at first light, the pavement dark and wet while everything around it is still white. Keansburg, Union Beach, Port Monmouth, Belford and Hazlet.
