Lil Johns Snow Plowing

About Lil Johns Snow Plowing

Journal Square at four in the morning during a storm is a strange and beautiful place — one plow, one blinking amber light, snow going sideways over the Bergen Arches cut. Lil Johns Snow Plowing keeps that shift: lots opened, driveways cut through, walks shoveled and salted so the first PATH riders are not wading. Storms come in off the harbor wet and heavy here, and heavy snow wants clearing early and then once more after it stops. The reward arrives all at once — an empty, black, wide-open lot at daybreak. Then on to the next address on the list.
