Jersey City Landscapers

About Jersey City Landscapers

Up in the Heights the streets fall away from the ridge toward the river, and a February snowfall turns every one of them into a decision. Jersey City Landscapers is out ahead of the buses — plowing, shoveling steps, salting the pitch where a hill runs into a sidewalk. Come summer the same routes get the mower and the edger, terraced yards and narrow side strips cut clean to the retaining wall. From Riverview-Fisk Park you can watch the whole skyline wake up; down at street level the job is just a stair somebody can climb. Two halves of the year, one set of streets, the same early hour.
