Garden Of Dreams

About Garden Of Dreams

There is a particular hopefulness to a yard where young trees have finally grown tall enough to throw real shade, and the grass beneath them is learning a new pattern of sun. Garden Of Dreams tends that patchwork in Jersey City — mowing the open ground, easing the height where the canopy has closed in, trimming clean around trunks and bed edges. Hedges are shaped, borders are cut back to a line, and the clippings are cleared off the walk so the yard reads finished. A lawn is where a family actually lives outdoors, and the aim is to make it a place worth stepping into barefoot. Kept week to week, it stops being a chore on a list and starts being a garden.
