About Platinum Lawn & Landscape

Behind Island Heights the pines take over fast — pitch pine, scrub oak, sand underfoot — and every lawn in the borough is a green square held against all that. Platinum Lawn & Landscape keeps those squares in shape from the first April cut, when the turf finally colors up, on through the long summer of weekly mowing, edging and trimming. Sandy ground drains in a hurry, so timing the cut after a rain matters more here than it does most places. The spring cleanup pulls winter's pine litter out of the beds; autumn gathers needles and leaves together. A tight edge along a driveway on a sand street is a small thing that changes how the whole property reads.
