Lawn Giant

About Lawn Giant

West toward Adelphia, Howell Township flattens into hayfields, sod ground and long runs of horse fence, and the July sun comes down on all of it with very little shade to break the fall. Lawn Giant works straight through the heat of the afternoon, setting the deck a notch higher when the ground goes dry so the turf holds its color instead of scorching. There is an honest reward in looking back at a finished yard — the pattern laid even, the trimmer line following the foundation and the fence posts, the drive cleared so nothing tracks indoors. Autumn brings the leaf rounds, spring the clearing of everything the wind left behind, and then the cycle opens again. Out along Route 9 the lawn is the front of the house, and it ought to look like somebody meant it.
