Lake Hopatcong was raised long ago to feed the Morris Canal, and the town that grew up around it still lives by water, hill and weather. Rudolfo Landscaping LLC works that terrain in both directions — mowing, trimming and edging the sloped yards through the green months, plowing and shoveling those same yards once the cold sets in. A winter dawn here means opening a drive that runs uphill from the road, then cutting a path to the door. A July morning means a straight line laid into a lawn that fought you for it. The town changes completely twice a year; the care does not.
