November in Hopatcong is the hinge of the year — the oaks let go all at once, the lake turns slate, and everybody starts watching the sky over Brooklyn Mountain Road. Bullaro Landscaping spends those weeks finishing the leaf work and getting ready for the other half of the job: plowing, shoveling, and salt where the grade runs downhill toward a garage door. From April on it is mowing, trimming and edging through neighborhoods where the yards climb. Two seasons, two machines, one set of streets learned by heart. A cleared drive in February and a clean cut in July come out of the same attention.
