About MasterMind Lawn Services

A mile square, laid out in blocks, and still Hoboken finds room to grow grass — behind the row houses, along the courtyards, at the edges of the streets that run down toward the terminal. MasterMind Lawn Services keeps those spaces in shape with regular mowing, trimming and edging, seasonal cleanups, and the ongoing tidy work a tight urban lot demands. Everything here has to be carried in through a gate and carried back out again, so the job is as much about leaving no trace as it is about the cut. Early Saturday, before Washington Street fills up, is the best time to work: cool, unhurried, gulls somewhere overhead. The finish is a green rectangle so clean it looks intentional against all that brick.
