About Thunderbolt Services & Properties

Hillside sits shoulder to shoulder with Newark and Elizabeth, and its snow arrives with city complications — narrow drives between houses, cars at the curb, a Route 22 slush line thrown back across the apron every time a truck goes by. Clearing a block here means knowing where the snow can actually go before you push it. Thunderbolt Services & Properties plows residential drives and commercial lots, clears sidewalks and entryways, and salts the walks along the older brick blocks where ice sets up in the shade of the houses. A corner property finished clean is its own kind of order: the walk cut wide, the apron open to the street, the pile placed where it won't be somebody's problem at thaw. Late in February, when the light finally comes back over the Elizabeth River flats, the work shows.
