About VINCO

Freezing rain is the harder call in this part of Somerset County — it arrives quietly along Hillsborough Road and glazes everything between here and the Manville flats before anyone is awake. VINCO handles snow removal on nights like that: plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and entries, and salting the surfaces where a partial thaw only makes matters worse by morning. Wind pushes drifts back across an open farm driveway nearly as fast as they can be cut, so the answer is going back and cutting them again. The measure of a night is simple — can people get out, and can they get out safely. In February that is the entire job in this township.
