Down at Blackwells Mills the canal keeps a perfectly ruled line through the eastern edge of Hillsborough Township, and the towpath beside it holds that line for miles. Farah Landscape and Design carries something of the same instinct onto township lawns, mowing in even passes, edging beds so the border reads sharp from the road, taking a yard down to bare ground each spring and fall. In April the water runs high and everything green starts at once, which is the busiest and best part of the year. Winter turns the work to plowing and salt, the same properties, a different tool. Straight lines either way.
