About Earthly Lawns & Landscapes LLC

For most of a century the fields around Kingston grew nursery stock — rank on rank of young trees waiting to be shipped somewhere else — and the soil near Heathcote still has that worked, willing feel to it. Earthly Lawns & Landscapes LLC tends the ground all that left behind, mowing lawns, overseeding where they've gone thin, trimming and clearing through spring and fall. Turf here answers best when you follow its calendar instead of fighting it: cool-season grass, hard-pressed in August, generous in May and again in September. The aim is a lawn thick enough that weeds run out of room. There is a deep contentment in ground that has been persuaded rather than forced.
