NJ Snow Control

About NJ Snow Control

Snow does not come often to this corner of Gloucester County, and when it does it means business — coastal storms that swing up the Delaware Valley and unload something heavy and wet between midnight and dawn. NJ Snow Control runs those nights, plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, spreading salt ahead of the refreeze that always follows a South Jersey thaw. Past Mullica Hill the roads run long and dark between fields, so a cleared apron and a salted walk are the difference between a normal Tuesday and a lost one. The work is entirely nocturnal and almost entirely invisible, which is exactly how you know it went well. By breakfast the driveway is black and the day just proceeds.
