About Captain's Tree Service LLC

Dusk in the pines below Hammonton comes down all at once, and the white sand roads out toward the Mullica hold the last of the light long after the trees have gone dark. Captain's Tree Service LLC works that country — pruning cedars and oaks around houses set back in the woods, trimming crowns off the well houses and sheds, taking down what the sand and the wind have already loosened. Removal in a tight pine stand is a puzzle of hinge and rope, worked out piece by piece with the lay of the ground settled first. After a summer line storm walks through, cleanup is the whole job: cut, chip, stack, sweep. The reward is a clearing that looks intentional instead of injured.
