About JRW SERVICES LLC

A nor'easter announces itself in Passaic a full day ahead — the sky flattens out, the air goes still and heavy, and the totals on the forecast keep creeping upward. JRW SERVICES LLC watches those maps and stages for them, then works plowing, shoveling and salting straight through the storm and after it, for driveways, walkways and commercial lots around the city. Wet coastal snow is heavy freight; it packs down, it refreezes overnight, and it earns a second visit. Ice control matters most on the steps and the short pitches down to the street, where a thin glaze does the most harm. When the wind finally swings northwest and scrubs the sky clean, the pavement is already black and dry.
