About Lightning Landscapes

Summer storms build through the afternoon with the light turning green ahead of them, and afterward everything grows an inch overnight. Lightning Landscapes mows into that — the fast weeks of June and July when a lawn needs cutting before you have finished thinking about it, trimming around beds and posts, edging the walks back to a clean line. Getting there between rains is half the craft; the other half is knowing when to raise the deck and let the turf carry itself through a dry August. Fall turns the work to leaves, and the yards come out of it swept and open. Grass grows fast in summer, and keeping up with it is a good way to spend a season.
