Haddon Tree Co

About Haddon Tree Co

Haddon Heights earned its name honestly; the town stands on a rise above the flats around it, and in a storm the wind finds it first. Haddon Tree Co runs the winter work here, with driveways plowed, walkways and steps shoveled, and salt laid down where shade under the old sycamores keeps a glaze alive all day. Those long shaded drives on the side streets are the tricky ones, narrow and lined with roots that punish a careless blade. Clearing them properly, before morning, is a matter of knowing each property rather than pushing hard. When the sun comes up on a street of black driveways and white lawns, the night's work explains itself.
