About Safeway Outdoor Services, LLC

The Hackensack River is tidal where it slides past Foschini Park, rising and falling twice a day behind the ballfields, carrying the smell of brackish water up into the streets. Safeway Outdoor Services, LLC keeps yards and drives along that riverside stretch of town and the neighborhoods set back from it. Summer is mowing and trimming on a schedule — grass that grows hard in the river humidity, edges kept true along walks and driveway aprons. Winter turns the same route into plow work: lots opened, walkways cleared to the pavement, salt down before the melt can freeze back at dusk. Both jobs end the same way, with a property that reads finished from the curb and asks nothing of the people who live there.
