About JBG Landscaping & Design

At seven in the morning the streets around Hackensack's medical center fill with people heading home after a long night, and every walk between the parking decks and the corner has to be safe to cross. Winter here is less picturesque than constant — freeze, thaw, refreeze, and a wind off the river that finds the ice you missed. JBG Landscaping & Design runs plows through the storms and comes back with shovels for the parts a truck cannot touch: steps, landings, the narrow walk beside a two-family. Salt goes down along the curb cuts and the low corners where meltwater runs and then stops. Clear driveways, clear walkways, and nobody thinking twice about their footing — that is the job.
