About Firstlawn Lawnservice

The first cut of the year comes in April, when the grass along Main Street near Johnson Park has gone shaggy and the mornings still hold dew until eight. Firstlawn Lawnservice starts there — blades set high, a slow pass to find where the winter left ruts, the season's shape drawn in a single afternoon. From then on it is a weekly rhythm through Hackensack's small deep yards: mowing, edging the walks, trimming the fence lines nobody else can reach. Cleanups bracket the year, pulling the matted leaves out in March and the fresh ones in November. In between there is green, level, and cut to the same height every single week.
