Quick Sidekick North Bergen

About Quick Sidekick North Bergen

At four in the morning the streets dropping from Boulevard East down toward River Road are the steepest problem in Hudson County, and the wind coming off the Hudson does nothing to help. Quick Sidekick North Bergen works Guttenberg's winter at that hour — shoveling stoops, steps and sidewalks, digging cars out of the curb line, plowing whatever lots and driveways fit between the buildings. Ice melt goes on the walks and landings, where a slip has nowhere good to end. Everything has to be cleared without burying the next car or the neighbor's door, which in this town is most of the skill. First light comes up over the river onto pavement people can actually use.
