Glassboro's oaks are stubborn — they hang onto their leaves deep into November and then release the whole lot on the first serious wind. Shaw's Landscaping LLC works that late stretch hard: raking, blowing, hauling, getting the lawn clear so it goes into winter breathing instead of smothered. The rest of the year runs on the weekly round — cutting, string trimming, and edging along the drives and walks. In April the grass comes out pale and pressed flat, and the spring clearing is what brings it back up standing. There is a good feeling in the last load of the year: the yard bare, even, and ready for whatever comes.
