About Buddy Landscaping, LLC

Late at night the wind comes off Dahnert's Lake with an edge on it, and Garfield goes quiet under a sodium-orange sky. That is the hour Buddy Landscaping, LLC is awake — headlights swinging in off the street, the blade dropping, a driveway going from white to black in a few unhurried passes. Plowing, shoveling out the walks, and salt down where the shade keeps ice from letting go: that is the whole of the work, and all of it happens before most of the block has stirred. A cleared drive at six in the morning is a small gift nobody watches being given. In a town packed this tight, that is exactly the point.
