Green Rite Tree Service

About Green Rite Tree Service

The big oaks around West Freehold were hedgerow trees once, marking out fields that are streets and backyards now, and they still stand exactly where the old fence line ran. Green Rite Tree Service works those lots between Route 9 and the Wemrock Brook, pruning open-grown oaks that were never trained for a lawn, cutting maples back from the eaves, and removing the ones that have finally lost their argument with the wind. A hedgerow tree that grew up alone carries its weight to one side, and bringing it back into balance takes a careful eye and more than one visit. When a summer front sweeps across Monmouth County and lays a limb over the drive, they cut it up, run the brush out, and comb the grass clean behind them. The reward is modest and it lasts: an old tree with another good decade in it.
