About DeRoss Contracting & Landscape

Snow in Freehold usually arrives after the town has gone to bed — a hush first, then the fields going pale under it. DeRoss Contracting & Landscape works those hours, blade down while the roads are still empty and the flakes are still small. A driveway gets opened wide enough to turn a car around in, walks cleared clean to the concrete, the banks pushed back so the next storm has somewhere to go. Morning comes to Freehold with the hedgerows loaded and the lanes white, and the only dark line on the property is the one that runs out to the road. There is something quietly good about that: a whole yard under winter, and a clear way through it.
