About Aiken's Tree Service LLC

Franklin was built against a hill famous for stones that glow under the right lamp, and the hardwoods on that hill turn color before almost anywhere else in the county. Aiken's Tree Service LLC works from the Wallkill up toward the Hamburg Mountain slopes — tree removal where a big ash has gone brittle above a garage, pruning to hold a young oak to a shape it can carry. Trimming happens on the cold clear days when you can see straight through a canopy and know exactly what to cut. Wind funnels down the valley in a nor'easter and leaves the yards full of what it took; storm damage cleanup puts the pieces on a truck and hands the lawn back. There is real satisfaction in a hillside yard that reads as open, level and finished.
