The glaciers left Franklin Lakes a great deal of stone, and you can still read it in the boulders sitting in back lots and the walls running off into the woods. MASA Landscape and Construction works between those givens — mowing, trimming, edging, mulching and cleanups through the green season, then plowing, shoveling and de-icing once November turns hard. Ground like this drains oddly, so a lawn and a driveway come down to the same question of where water wants to go. In summer that means an even cut over uneven land; in winter it means a drive that dries instead of glazing. The land sets the terms, and the work meets them.
