About DG Landscaping LLC

A nor'easter doesn't so much arrive in Forked River as come in sideways, wet snow off the bay stacking heavy at the end of every driveway. DG Landscaping LLC is out in it while the streetlights are still on, plow down along Lacey Road, working from the garage door back to the pavement so nobody wakes up shut in. Bay snow is dense stuff — it packs, it refreezes at the apron, it wants salt on the steps and a second look after the wind shifts. There is real satisfaction in a black driveway at sunrise, the drift pushed clean off the walk and the mailbox still standing. Then the coffee goes cold in the cupholder and the truck rolls on to the next street.
